February 2014: Better Yet Equine is proud to announce the arrival of Lumiere and Saturday! These two lovely Westphalian geldings have just arrived from Germany. Hand-picked by Henriette in Europe, we expect great things for them. Lumiere has been a dressage horse, but with his powerhouse, flat-kneed movement and great form over a jump we think he will be a spectacular hunter. Saturday will be started under saddle at Better Yet, as he is just 3. With his looks and temperment, he is going to be a phenomenal prospect. We are so thrilled to have both these lovely geldings in our program! For more information about Lumiere or Saturday, please contact Henriette.
August 2012: Congratulations to Barclay Powell and Cookies & Cream for their outstanding performance at USEF Pony Finals! Barclay and Cookie were part of the gold medal winning Zone 4 Pony Jumper team and placed 8th individually in the nation for Pony Jumpers. We are so proud of them!
July 2012: Henriette is currently in Pennsylvania until September, assisting with starting youngstock under saddle at Last Laugh Farm. In August, Barclay Powell and Cookies & Cream head to the USEF Pony Finals in Lexington, Kentucky to compete in the Pony Jumpers!
The Better Yet Team headed to Franklin, TN for the Mid South

Henriette and Wyland were first and third in the 3'3 Hunter Over Fences, with Better Yet client Kathy Noffsinger winning the other over fences class in the division, and coming third over fences and under saddle to win Reserve Champion of the division with her foxhunter High Cotton. They followed up as Champions of the Low/Open/Training Hunter Division on Sunday, with Henriett and Wyland tied for Reserve Champion! Henriette showed Ashley Glenn's three year old Dutch Warmblood gelding Armani in his first-ever show, and he was a star. He came second in the Young Hunter 2' Under Saddle, and won the Young Hunter 2' Over fences! We can't wait to see how this lovely young gelding grows up. May 20-22: RMI Mid-Florida MacKenzie Powell and Paradox took second in the $1500 1.0M Jumper class, as well as two thirds and a fourth in the Low Childrens'/Adult Jumpers at their first show together. Summer 2011: Better Yet Equine wishes the very best to two special clients who are relocating. Colleen Cunningham (former owner of Native Relic) has moved to Denver, Colorado--we look forward to a Better Yet ski trip! Dr. Stephanie Meyer, owner of Luke and Raleigh, has moved home to the Pacific Northwest and "the boys" have gone to join her in Washington. Everyone at Better Yet Equine will miss these two special women very much, and we wish them the very best in their new homes.
